I have a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture and am a fully licensed member of the British Acupuncture Council. My treatments are based on an integrated approach using Acupuncture techniques such as moxibustion and electro-acupuncture as well as dietary and lifestyle advice.

After training at the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Leamington Spa for three years, I qualified with an honours degree in Traditional Five Element Acupuncture, I became a member of the British Acupuncture Council and went on to set up acupuncture practice in south Manchester. I now operate from two clinics in the area. Currently I do two full clinic days on Monday's and Tuesdays, with the option of evening appointments.

Dr Yu is a TCM practitioner with PhD, who has expertise in rheumatological, immunological, gynaecological and digestive diseases. His practice combines TCM with modern approaches. Chinese herbal medicine can be prescribed either separately or in conjunction with acupuncture treatment.

I practice Acupuncture in Hale (Cheshire), just South of Manchester, and I treat people with a combination of two different forms: Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Five Element Acupuncture (or 5 elements). After gaining an Honours degree in Anatomical Sciences at Manchester University, I trained for three and a half years at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, Reading, studying both Chinese and Western medicine.
