Kate Garden is a nutritional therapist who founded Apricot Nutrition in 2004. Her interest in nutrition began whilst at university in London in the early 1990’s where she graduated with honours in psychology. It was during her studies that she began to understand the significance of diet in emotional wellbeing and where her interest in nutrition began to develop. Kate was keen to further her knowledge and went on to train at the renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London (ION).
ION was founded by health expert Patrick Holford and is widely considered to be the UK’s leading centre for nutritional studies. After a three year course she gained her diploma with merit in Nutritional Therapy. As well as running Apricot, Kate is writing her first book that she hopes to publish in 2005.
